Lorica Segmentata Armor

	This Wearable Roman Suit of armor is hand-made. Lorica Segmentata was a type of armor used primarily in the Roman Empire at the end of the 1st century B.C. and continuing until the middle of the 3rd century A.D. This particular armor is made up of four sections: two for shoulders and two for torso. The armor itself consists of broad ferrous (iron or steel) strips fastened to internal leather straps. The armor sections overlap forming an armadillo type of scale. This armor is fully adjustable to the wearer's size. It is recommended that it be worn with some other protective under garment like a red shirt for protection and to complete the Roman look. It is constructed of 16 ga. Carbon Steel with leather straps.

We normally ship orders within 1 business day. Delivery lead time varies from 2-8 business days. Rush service is available via 2 day and next day air. Rush orders placed after 12:00 noon will be shipped the following day.

is done via either FED EX Ground or UPS. Both offer equivalent service to all areas of the country for retail delivery. Larger wholesale orders can sometimes be shipped via common carriers to save on freight. This only applies to multiple bolt orders shipped to the same location.
